RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Newmar Named Diamond Sponsor for RVSEF Conference

145400308845808.pngNewmar Corporation has been named a Diamond sponsor of the upcoming RV Technical, Education & Safety Conference, scheduled for Oct. 1-5. The Diamond level of sponsorship is the highest level available.

“Sponsorships range from one to five stars and top level Diamond; We are pleased that Newmar has partnered with us at the very top level,” RV Safety & Education Foundation Executive Director Walter Cannon says.

In addition, Skaggs RV Country, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the site of the 2017 RVSEF Conference, has been named the Host Dealership and will sponsor a dinner for all attendees, as well as act as the local host during the conference, according to a story by Motorhome Magazine.
