Battisti Customs was formed in early 2009 by Bill Battisti and Carl Hazzard who have extensive experience in engineering the interior vehicle components, according to the company website.

Battisti Customs is the latest example of Forest River's expansions and growth acquisitions in the recreational vehicle market, after acquiring Dynamax in 2011. It also has made recent acquisitions in the luxury bus and marine markets.

More details on the acquisition will follow in the days ahead as more information becomes available.
