Forest River, Inc. is planning an expansion in Goshen, Indiana.
The Goshen Plan Commission approved a request on Tuesday by Supreme Corp. for primary approval of a four-lot major industrial subdivision on the north side of East Kercher Road, west of Horn Ditch, east of and including Supreme Court on the city’s south side containing about 34.81 acres.
Mike Stump, the director of public relations for Forest River, told the commission that the recreational vehicle manufacturer is the primary driver behind the requested replat, since the company has plans to buy two of Supreme's vacant buildings on the property, according to a story by The Goshen News.
“We recently bought a company and we’re planning on relocating that company and its employees to the Supreme property,” Stumps says. "Currently the buildings are sitting empty and have been for quite a while, and I think it would be beneficial for Goshen to get those up and occupied and put people to work.”
