RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

149823116177576.jpgThor Motor Coach has introduced the 2018 Tuscany line of type A diesel motorhomes.

THe exterior of the motorhome has a Cummins 8.9L engine with 450 horsepower and a 1,250-pound per foot torque. The four different floorplans range in size from 39 feet, 11 inches to 44 feet, 10 inches.

The interior of the coach features polished porcelain tile throughout, high-gloss glazed cabinetry, LED lighting, an electric fireplace with a remote control and other features.

The kitchen has a 20 cubic-foot stainless steel residential french door refrigerator, a large double bowl stainless steel kitchen sink, a roller shade and an electric induction cooktop.

The bedroom features a ceiling fan, a king-size bed with Tilt-a-View inclining bed mechanism, while the bathroom features a skylight in the shower, a foot-flush porcelain toilet and more.

The coach comes with five LED HDTV televisions. The living area features a 55-inch and a 40-inch TV; a 32-inch TV is in the cockpit overhead and in the bedroom and another 40-inch TV is on the exterior with bluetooth soundbar.
