PLYMOUTH, Michigan - TriMotive Brazil, the South American OEM division of Horizon Global Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of branded towing and trailering equipment, was recently recognized by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as Supplier of the Year.
The award was given out during Fiat Chrysler’s Annual Supplier Conference & Awards, held May 26 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The awards honor companies that stand out for their commitment to delivering value with innovation, quality, assurance and competitiveness. Award winners also must align with the FCA principles of cooperation, continuous improvement, integrity, empathy, commitment, long-term thinking and transparency.
"We honor partners who always play a role not only with their best ideas and technologies, but also constantly exceeding our expectations," FCA Global Purchasing Director Scott Thiele says.
“It was a very nice surprise for us, especially because it was the first time that we participated in this event,” TriMotive Brazil Product and Sales Manager Eder Rasso says.
“This award motivates our team to continue reaching for additional innovation and opportunities with OEMs like FCA and drives us to increase our commitment to maintain the quality level of our products and services,” TriMotive Brazil General Manager Ronaldo Lemos says.
The award winners were chosen based on several factors, including an assessment of performance indicators in the last year – a rating system that assesses the supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership – and on the perception of the FCA group leadership.
