RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Cody Talbert Distribution Purchasing Director Passes Away at 50

149857815874935.jpgKathleen M. "Kathy" Cochran, the purchasing director for Cody Talbert Distribution, passed away Tuesday, June 20. She was 50 years old.

Cochran was born in Exeter, New Hampshire and moved to Florida with her family in grade school, remaining in Osceola County through most of her life.

She worked with her husband at Camping Connection, as well as her work with Cody Talbert Distribution.

She was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in September 2014 and fought the disease without complaint, according to an obituary on New Horizon Funeral Chapel and Cremation. She used her final years working and traveling and credits her faith, family and friends for getting her through the difficult times.

A celebration of her life will be held July 8 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church in St. Cloud.
