RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

65th Annual California RV Show Sold Out

149399846748187.jpgReston, Virginia - The RV Industry Association has announced that exhibit space for the 65th Annual California RV Show, the largest consumer RV show on the West Coast, is sold out. The show, which takes place Oct. 6-15 at the LA Fairplex in Pomona, California, is the longest running RV Show in the country.

The show features more than 1.3 million square feet of exhibit space and more than 1,400 RVs from hundreds of brands, for guests to explore and purchase. In addition, the show is packed with live music, four food courts, free Ferris Wheel rides compliments of KOA and the opportunity to 'meet and greet' your favorite sport celebrities. Hollywood celebrity, Mario Lopez and Estrella TV & Radio personality, Don Cheto, will also be available for autographs and selfies.

“Selling over 1.3 million square feet of RV space is a testament to the current strength of the RV Industry and the Los Angeles market,” RVIA Senior Vice President of Trade Shows and Events Liz Crawford says.
