RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Priority One Names New Vice President of Finance

149866432668268.jpgSt. Petersburg, Florida - Priority One Financial Services, Inc., the recreational industry’s oldest and largest F&I outsourcing provider, has announced that Dave Homan has been named Vice President of Finance.

Homan will be responsible for all aspects of the company's finance function, including financial management, performance analysis and internal controls and compliance and works closely with the management team in formulating the strategic direction of the company.

His prior experience includes time as dealership controller at Mercedes-Benz of Tampa, assistant controller at Marine Max and internal audit at Asbury Automotive Group. Additionally, he has held finance and accounting positions in the telecommunications and manufacturing industries. His broad depth of accounting, finance and audit experience has cultivated an attention to detail and quality assurance that are assets to all Priority One stakeholders, according to a press release. He received his MBA and accounting degrees from the University of Florida and is a Florida CPA.

“As we round out our 30th year in business, it is very exciting to have someone with Dave’s breadth of experience join our team," Priority One President Heather Mariscal says. "He will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in helping us find new and better ways to serve dealers in the years ahead."
