RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Brown & Brown Insurance Makes $20,000 Donation to RV Learning Center

145288477541371.pngFairfax, Virginia - Brown & Brown Insurance of Kentucky has made a second $20,000 installment on its $100,000 pledge to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

With this year’s pledge payment, Brown & Brown honors Jeff Hirsch of Campers Inn, former RVDA Chairman of the Board, for his many contributions to the industry.

The donation puts Brown & Brown in the top category for donors, Major Gifts.

“We know that when dealers and their employees are successful, our company is successful,” Brown & Brown Executive Vice President Michael Neal says. "That’s why continuing education and training is a priority and why we are pleased to support the work of the RV Learning Center.”
