RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Thetford Shows New Products, Conducts Seminar at FMCA Rally

149996378047893.jpgAnn Arbor, Mich. - Along with highlighting its new products, Thetford Corporation will conduct a free and informative "RV Bathroom TLC" seminar during this week's Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) Rally in Indianapolis.

Thetford's manager of chemical development, Paula Pacholke-Dumont, will host the seminar, which also focuses on RV toilet and holding tank maintenance, at 8 a.m. Thursday in Seminar Room 1.

"As usual, we’ll be there at the Rally in full force," Director of Sales & Marketing Andy Bialorucki says.

Bialorucki says Thetford sees the rally as a way to stay connected to consumers as well as ensure consumers are educated in how to properly maintain their toilets and holding tanks.
