RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Blue Ox Hires New Dealer Development Manager

150030604465524.jpgPENDER, Nebraska - Chad Cole has joined Blue Ox as a Dealer Development Manager in Outside Sales serving customers in Minnesota and Wisconsin, according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

“Chad’s strength is in building one-on-one relationships with the people who really help shape the Blue Ox brand: our dealers,” Kietzmann says. “We are excited to have Chad on the team and look forward to the enthusiasm and knowledge he brings to our tradition of service in helping our mutual customers understand how our products can improve their recreational and commercial towing experiences.”

Cole previously served as a corporate trainer involved in helping regional managers and operations directors to help build effective, knowledgeable and customer oriented teams.
