Minnesota RV Competitors Buy Land for New Stores Next to Each Other

Mon Jul 17, 2017

ORONOCO, Minn. — Two friendly competitors — Noble RV and Hilltop Camper and RV — each have been shopping for land to build local dealerships.

Both closed on deals for land this week, with Hilltop paying $1.3 million for 12 acres and Noble paying $1.08 million for 10 acres.

The surprise is both Hilltop and Noble bought land next to each other in front of People's Energy Cooperative, outside of Oronoco, according to a story by The Post Bulletin. The end result is that next year, there will be a massive new "RV Row" with hundreds of RVs and campers on display, along U.S. 52 between Oronoco and Rochester.
