RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

LiquidSpring LLC Holds Open House at New Facility

150039352624410.jpgLiquidSpring LLC recently held an open house at its new, expanded facility in Lafayette, Indiana. Roughly three times the size of its previous building, the new facility is also situated on land with room to grow up to another three times its current size. Employees and their families, customers and a few state officials were invited to the open house for plant tours and refreshments. Several vehicles equipped with the LiquidSpring CLASS suspension products were also on display, including ambulances, truck bodies and an RV.

LiquidSpring LLC offers its CLASS suspension products for several light and medium duty truck applications such as ambulances, shuttle buses and motorhomes. The products have demonstrated significant ride and handling performance improvements over conventional steel and air spring suspension systems, according to a press release. Other products are available for Class 3-7 trucks. LiquidSpring provides sales, application guidance, manufacturing, distribution and service of CLASS suspensions.
