The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

PENDER, Nebr. - Ashley McQuistan has joined Blue Ox as the Human Resources Administrator at the corporate and manufacturing facility in Pender, according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.
Prior to joining Blue Ox on July 17, McQuistan was a Human Resources Coordinator at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.
“Ashley has a great track record in a wide variety of industries including professional services, technology, healthcare and education,” Kietzmann says. "Her professional skills in job analysis, training and talent acquisition align perfectly with the needs of our employees and the company as a whole. I am excited to welcome Ashley on board and look forward to her contribution to our mission to provide employees with insights and advances in professional development and in achieving their specific goals in our Wellness Program.”
The Blue Ox Wellness Program, managed through the Human Resources department, helps employees identify their three top vulnerable health areas and creates a list of specific goals.

In addition to her extensive professional experience, McQuistan has earned a Master’s of Business Administration in Human Resources as well as an undergraduate degree in Marketing.
