RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

ITC Completes Move to Larger Facility

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - ITC Inc., a lighting firm founded in Holland, Michigan 35 years ago, has moved into a larger and more energy-efficient headquarters facility at 3030 Corporate Drive.

The company, which is moving 70 employees in the former Penske Truck Rental facility, also employs 22 at its facility in Elkhart, Indiana facility and 89 employees at its plant in China.

Founded in 1982, ITC specializes in making LED lighting products for the marine, recreational vehicle and office furniture industries. The company said it also is developing new business opportunities in retail display and architectural lighting, according to a story by MLive.com.

"The new Hudsonville facility will double the current footprint and allow for further growth as ITC continues to seek opportunities to better serve its customer base," according to a company press release. "It will also be a working showroom, with many ITC products highlighted throughout the building."
