RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Intellitec Hires New Regional Sales Manager

150229122619119.jpgDeLand, Fla. - Intellitec Products, LLC has hired Chad Friesner to the newly created position of Regional Sales Manager for the RV, Marine and Specialty Vehicle Markets. Friesner and his family reside in Elkhart County and bring 16 years of OEM sales experience in the RV industry to the Intellitec team.

“Chad’s knowledge of the end user needs will provide great value to our OEM customers and our continued product development” Intellitec President Ned Schiff says. "We are launching major new products with our Road Commander control and monitoring system and Command Center control panels for the RV, marine and specialty vehicle markets. It is critical that we have a strong local presence to support our OEM customers with this initiative.”

Prior to joining Intellitec, Friesner was a Regional Sales Manager with Keystone and Coachmen RV and a Product Specialist with Fleetwood Motorhomes. He is a graduate of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
