Inaugural RV Industry Awards Will Be Held Nov. 29 in Louisville

Thu Aug 10, 2017

145072659275994.jpgRESTON, Va. – The inaugural RV Industry Awards will bring the RV industry together for an evening of recognition during the National RV Trade Show. Held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky, this first-ever event will serve as a platform to honor the companies, people and vehicles that truly showcase the RV industry as dynamic, innovative, inspirational and customer-service focused.

The event will be sponsored by Kampgrounds of America and will feature the RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index Quality Circle Awards, a new RVIA Leadership Award and other annual awards.

Now in its 24th year, RVDA’s DSI program measures dealer attitudes toward manufacturers’ policies, products and procedures. RVDA presents its coveted Quality Circle Awards each year to RV manufacturers achieving the highest ratings in a member survey, which focuses on four areas that are important to dealers and manufacturers: vehicle reliability/quality; parts; warranty and sales support.

“RVDA is pleased to partner with RVBusiness and RVIA on this exciting new event, set to be held in conjunction with the National RV Trade Show,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia says. “We look forward to a great night celebrating the achievements of top performers in the RV industry.”

The RVIA Leadership Award, in its very first year, recognizes an individual, group or organization for exemplary leadership in the RV industry. The nominee(s) must demonstrate excellence in innovation and creativity in the RV industry, inspire and encourage others and commit to providing excellent service to the RV community. Nominations for the award are currently being accepted at RVIAshow.org/LeadershipAward.

“The RVIA Leadership Award will go to an individual in the industry who seeks ways to implement change and further the growth and success of the RV industry,” RVIA Senior Vice President of Trade Shows and Events Liz Crawford says. "RVIA is excited to recognize all of the RV Industry Award winners. It’s time to celebrate the success of the industry and the hard work everyone puts into their business.”

It’s where the RV industry gathers each year to celebrate and help grow the market, discover new products and engage with corporate leaders, key stakeholders and the financial and investment community. The show is being brought together by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association and RVBusiness Magazine.
