RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

In the latest Rollin on TV show, the show heads to Nappanee, Indiana to tour Gulf Stream Coach, who is celebrating its 35th anniversary. The show takes a look at the company's origins and follows it through its history all under the same family ownership.

The show will detail a look at Gulf Stream's new towable production line and what goes into building the company's popular type C Conquest and BT Cruisers.

Later, the show heads to Broomfield, Colorado to visit Carefree of Colorado, who is celebrating its 45th year as a leader in RV awning innovation. The show will go into the facility to take an inside look at how the awnings are designed and manufactured.

Finally, Mark and Dawn Polk from RV Education 101 will show what RVers need to know about living on 30-amps.
