RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

America's Largest RV Show Begins Sept. 12

Camp Hill, Penn. - America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania is only two weeks away. The show will start Sept. 12 and provides the opportunity to view more than 1,300 of the newest RVs, spend quality time with manufacturer reps and take advantage of affordable education events.

This year’s show includes a variety of RV technician training beginning on Monday, Sept. 11 and continues into Industry Day on Tuesday, Sept 12. Training includes Truma, Xantrex, Norcold, Thetford, Cummins, PDI Training, Marshall Excelsior, Horizon Global, Workamper Clinic, Selling Accessories in the Internet Age and more.

Monday evening will start with a dinner at the Antique Auto Museum, which will also include a silent auction and a Q&A with former NFL wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff.
