RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Florida Lottery and Lazydays RV Team Up for Promo

Lottery players will have the chance to win a 2018 Lazydays RV Winnebago Motorhome, a five‐day Lazydays RV Rental, cash, and college football prizes while supporting their favorite Florida team all season long. All Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5 and Fast Play (Cornhole Cash) tickets purchased by November 27, 2017, can be entered to win. Universities participating in the promotion include Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of Miami, and University of South Florida.

“The Florida Lottery is very pleased to partner with Lazydays RV during this year’s GameDay Cash Promotion,” Florida Lottery Secretary Jim Poppell said in a press release. “In addition to the possibility of winning the grand prize of a 2018 Lazydays Winnebago Motorhome, players can also be excited that, like all Florida Lottery products, a portion of every Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5, and Cornhole Cash ticket purchased for this promotion will benefit students and schools across Florida.”

The promotion will be in more than 13,000 retailers across Florida. It will be publicized with TV, radio, digital and in‐stadium marketing efforts.
