Tacoma, Wash. – Sobel and Associates, Inc. (dba Sobel University) has announced the promotion of Jered Sobel to vice president of the RV specific sales and management training company.
Randy Sobel, president of Sobel University, admits this promotion was an easy decision.
“Jered brings an intimate knowledge of millennial buyers to our already developed curriculum and we are finding that all of our clients benefit from the modern training as it reaches a greater span of RV clients across generations,” Randy Sobel says. “Jered truly enjoys the intellectual conversations that merge old material, with what is needed for today’s educated and well informed customers.”
From a young age, Jered Sobel has been inundated with the RV business from assisting the president while traveling to managing video training. He started in an entry level position with the company at a young age, assembling books and materials. Later, when Sobel and Associates, Inc. opened a dealership, Jered Sobel was charged with opening a second location. He was responsible for hiring and training 100 percent of the staff including salespeople, managers and service advisors. When asked, Jered is still proud to report zero turnover in three years. He attributes that accomplishment to hiring the right people and daily training.
Since assuming a training role with Sobel University, Jered has written two new training manuals, instituted webinar training on a monthly and quarterly basis, and is solely responsible for the new hire on boarding process that is being used by dealerships across the country. The New Hire Training Program includes training for the first 20 days of employment and has been the best-selling product in Sobel University’s history.
Additionally, Jered has modernized the way Sobel University trains one-on-one with sales professionals across the country.
“Jered has been instrumental in changing the culture and language that we present within our company,” Randy says. “I’ve been in the business since 1982, and many of our clients have mentioned that they feel secure doing business with us knowing that the work we are doing will continue to grow and connect generations for years to come.”
While Jered Sobel is currently filling the role of vice president, the promotion will become official Jan. 1, 2018. In his new position as vice president, he will share ownership of Sobel University.
