Gulf Stream Coach to Introduce Multiple New Products at Open House

Wed Sep 13, 2017

Nappanee, Ind. - Currently enjoying an industry-beating growth curve and launching a year-long celebration of its 35th year in business, Nappanee, Indiana-based Gulf Stream Coach is planning to continue its winning trend with major new product introductions and enhancements to all its major product lines.

In addition, the company will host meals, entertainment and prizes from its handy display location just steps from the RV Hall of Fame at the intersection of Executive Drive and Independence Court, which will be open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Sept. 18-21.

“Monday is traditionally “Gulf Stream Coach Day” at the Open House, and is often one of our busiest days at the show, so we’ll be open all day long, with lunch and dinner for the crowd,” Gulf Stream Coach Director of Marketing Paul Campbell says. “We’re also seeing a trend of dealers visiting our display multiple times during their stay, so we will have a chef on hand, room to relax in the shade of our huge tent and stadium lighting set up so we can accommodate everyone, no matter what time is best for them.”

Most important, of course, are the new products dealers will find in the Gulf Stream Coach display. Product planners at all Gulf Stream divisions have worked closely with dealers to identify what RV customers are looking for. The result is a broad selection of innovative travel trailers and motorhomes that capture the excitement, fun, comfort and adventure of RVing across a wide range of price points, sizes, styles and floorplans.

“Dealers tell us that competitors’ products all look the same,” Gulf Stream Coach Executive Vice President Phil Sarvari says. “We’ve responded by going beyond traditional earth-tone fabrics and me-too floorplans, with distinctive new colors, features, floorplans and decors that give our dealers travel trailers and motorhomes their customers will fall in love with. Our goal: To make customers’ eyes light up and smiles appear when they step inside a Gulf Stream Coach product.”

To meet the demands of expanded offerings and increased sales, Gulf Stream Coach has initiated a program to increase overall production by 30 percent in the coming year. The increase is the result of physical changes to the production process, added production space and expansion of the company’s PDI program.

“By offering some of the industry’s hottest, best-loved products, we’ve strengthened our dealer network with some of the top RV dealers in the industry over the past few years,” Sarvari says. “Plus, by ramping up production, we’re giving our dealers the tools they need to increase both the rate and number of retail turns they can generate in the coming year. With that kind of strong upside opportunity available, we’re encouraging all Elkhart Open House attendees to stop at our display to see what Gulf Stream Coach can do for them.”
