The 35th Maryland RV Super Sale begins Thursday, Sept. 14 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 17.
In its 35th year, Show Manager Rich Kohles says the show gives Maryland RVers the chance to find great deals on RVs within their own state, contributing to the local economy and being able to drive the RV off the show grounds after it closes, a few factors that few other show can say.
“We represent all of the dealers in Maryland,” Kohles says. “In other shows, you could buy an RV from a dealer in New York or anywhere like that. Once you do that, you’d have to deal with that dealer. My dealers will always service all the units that they sold. Ones out of state can’t necessarily say that. We do this show to protect our dealers.”
Last year’s show brought in 26,852 people, which was a 17 percent increase over the previous year. Kohles says the significant increase was wholly unexpected with the election year. While inclement weather is expected during some of the days this year, Kohles says they are hoping to hold on to that attendance.
“When you go to the show, you can look at the models that you’re interested in and then that exact RV can become your RV as opposed to another show where you have to order it and it comes from the factory and an out-of-state dealer. We have the full depth and breadth of the industry here. All the manufacturers, all the types and you can drive it off the lot when the show is over.”
There will be 500 units on display from seven dealers in the Maryland area. RVs being displayed include models from the following manufacturers:
• Crossroads RV
• Cruiser RV
• Grand Design
• Travel Lite
• Forest River
• Prime Time
• Liberty Outdoors
• And more
The show will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. It includes free parking and is held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland.
