RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Camping World Begins Partnership with Major League Baseball

145434773794726.pngLINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. -- Camping World Holdings, Inc., the nation’s largest network of RV-centric retail locations, and Major League Baseball have announced a multi-year partnership making Camping World the Official RV Dealer of Major League Baseball, Official RV and Outdoor Supply Company of Major League Baseball, plus Presenting Partner of the 2017 American League Championship Series and Presenting Partner of the 2017 National League Championship Series.

This long-term partnership includes major licensing and retail components that will feature officially licensed MLB products sold at Camping World and other CWH retailers. Camping World brands are also granted rights to produce MLB licensed items themselves in a variety of consumer product categories.

With this new agreement, Camping World plans to expand its brand awareness with an integrated marketing program that will reach millions of MLB fans through broadcast, digital, social, mobile and in-ballpark platforms. This includes LCS broadcast networks TBS, FOX and FS1, as well as MLB Media assets MLB Network, MLB.com and MLB Advanced Media mobile apps.

In addition, customers will have an opportunity to participate in the MLB Postseason 2017 Flyaway Experience Sweepstakes taking place at Camping World retail stores nationwide, starting Sept.19 through Oct. 11. The sweepstakes consist of a chance to win one out of a total of 16 MLB Postseason 2017 Flyaway Experience Prize Packages for the 2017 MLB Postseason: Four Grand Prize 2017 MLB World Series Experiences; Six First Prize 2017 American League Championship Series MLB Postseason Experiences and six First Prize 2017 National League Championship Series MLB Postseason Experiences.
