RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Thor Motor Coach Displays Large Selection of Motorhomes at Open House

“Thor Motor Coach continues to lead the market with models and designs that are ‘made to fit’ the budgets and lifestyles of today’s motorhome buyer,” Thor Motor Coach Vice President of Product Development Jon Krider says. “We are excited to show-off new floor plans and technologies to our dealers at this year’s Open House.”

• Aria 4000, a bunk bed model with two complete bathrooms and Tilt-A-View inclining king bed
• Palazzo 37.4 features triple slideout rooms and seat belts for eight passengers
• Venetian S40 has a dual vanity, mid-bath arrangement with sofa and theater seating in the living area
• Outlaw 37GP type A toy hauler with dual ramp doors that convert to patios
• Outlaw 29J type C toy hauler with an expanded living room, seating for six and swivel captain’s chairs
• Challenger 37FH, a triple slideout, bath-and-a-half with full-wall slideout room and multiplex wiring system
• Synergy Sprinter JR24 with optional Summit Package featuring a Winegard Connect 4G, multiplex wiring system, Mobileye lane assist and Fusion 8-inch touchscreen dash radio with Bluetooth, navigation and Sirius XM
• Three new Quantum floor plans:
