Texas Group Collecting RVs for Families in Need

Wed Sep 27, 2017

PORT ARANSAS, Texas – Now that the Port Aransas Independent School District will re-open soon, the next question is where will the students and their families live?

One Port Aransas group hopes to provide displaced families with temporary homes in donated RVs, according to a story by KrisTV.com.

"When they go back to school Oct. 16, I don't want them to look over and say 'Where is so and so where is he at?'" said Walter Sohl a resident of Port Aransas.

Sohl's home was damaged during the storm but it's still livable, he knows many others weren't as lucky as him.
