The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Eighteen new RV covers from Classic Accessories will be available for purchase soon from the company.
The 18 new covers will be available in different sizes and applications to the Permapro collection.
The covers will include those for folding campers, molded fiberglass travel trailers, type B motorhomes and teardrop trailers.
The covers for the teardrop trailers and the folding campers are available now, according to Classic Accessories Sales Manager Harry Allen.
The covers for the molded fiberglass travel trailers will be available for purchase at the beginning of November, while those for the Type B motorhomes will be available in December.
Each cover will come with Permapro’s lifetime warranty.
Classic Accessories was founded in 1983 in a small basement in Seattle, Washington by Jacob Engelstein, who saw an opportunity to create automotive accessories such as seat belt pads, steering wheel covers and more.
