RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Cummins Promotes Jenny Bush to VP of Sales and Service

150851212188793.jpgColumbus, Ind. – Cummins Inc. has promoted Jenny Bush to the position of vice president of sales and service North America.

Bush has been with the engine manufacturer for 20 years, leading many different teams, including sales, purchasing and operations within the alternator and commercial marine engine business.

Most recently, Bush led the Mid-South and Gulf regions in the distribution business, according to a story by Inside Indiana Business.

Bush joined Cummins as a parts writer after completing a technician apprenticeship with Shell Oil, where she was the first female technician in a traditionally male environment.

In her new role, her responsibilities include leading eight wholly owned distribution regions across the U.S. and Canada, which consist for more than 9,000 employees and contribute $4.6 billion in sales.
