RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVIA Invites Members to Register for 2018 Leadership Conference

Register for the 2018 RVIA Leadership Conference, in conjunction with the Annual Membership Meeting, taking place Jan. 14-15, 2018 at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Florida. Executive management as well as the next generation of industry leaders are encouraged to attend to be a part of the impactful networking and educational opportunities.

“The RV Leadership Conference is critical to developing future leaders of the RV industry,” RVIA Senior Vice President of Trade Shows and Events Liz Crawford says. “This event brings together RVIA members and key industry players to network and share best practices, while discussing critical industry and association issues.”

The 2018 RVIA Leadership Conference, held directly before the Florida RV Supershow, opens with RVIA committee meetings on Sunday, Jan. 14. To kick off the next day of networking and education, a welcome reception for all Leadership Conference attendees will occur Sunday evening at 6 p.m. A full day of leadership meetings take place on Monday, Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and will feature special guest speakers who will talk about the future of the industry. An Executive Committee meeting will take place in the afternoon and later, there will be a Chairman’s Reception from 6 – 7:30 p.m. followed by the Chairman’s Dinner from 7:30 – 9 p.m. The RVIA Board of Directors Meeting will take place Tuesday, Jan. 16.

The 2018 RVIA Leadership Conference will be held at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel & Marina, in downtown Tampa, along the scenic waterfront.
