DDE is a full-service enterprise reporting company that has grown its customer base to 600 dealership locations over the last 15 years. An innovator in the software industry, DDE has a solid track record of implementing its flagship product, Executive Eye, with some of the largest dealership groups in the United States.

“We are excited to bring the capabilities of Dashboard Dealership Enterprises to our customers,” CDK CEO Brian MacDonald says. "By adding industry-leading dashboard and reporting capabilities we will immediately help CDK customers effectively measure the success of their businesses. The company’s experience with many of the nation’s largest dealers also gives us great confidence in taking Executive Eye to our customer base.”

Dealerships have expressed an increasing level of interest in more capable business intelligence and metrics reporting solutions. Because reporting solutions can help dealers identify opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability, development of tools like Executive Eye will play an important role in CDK’s efforts to enable end-to-end automotive commerce, according to a press release.

The acquisition of DDE, a current CDK Global Partner Program participant, allows CDK to deliver a more robust reporting solution. The mobile-friendly product offers enterprise-level reporting to help dealers measure and manage their business. Executive Eye can also help dealers to assess the financial health of one store or an entire group through business analytic reporting tools, as well as view key performance indicators (KPIs) from all stores side-by-side, providing easy performance comparisons and the ability to identify stores that need attention.

As part of the acquisition, DDE CEO Josh Blick and COO William Page III will join CDK to help guide further development of Executive Eye.

“We are very pleased to be able to join CDK and continue improving on the foundation we’ve built with Executive Eye,” Blick says. "The broad capabilities of CDK will help ensure we’re delivering even more value to customers.”
