RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Breaking: National RV Supply Leaving RV Distribution Business

The company posted the following message on its website:

“Effective Friday October 27th, 2017 the centralized wholesale capability offered by National RV Supply company will discontinue service directly to the public.

Any orders that have been placed through Friday, including special orders, will be fulfilled. If you have any questions about orders that are in process, please contact the company at wholesale@campingworld.com.

Wholesale product pricing and service will continue to be offered at your local Camping World location. To find the nearest store, please go to campingworld.com. We appreciate all of your business and thank you for the opportunity. We look forward to serving you in the future.”

Personnel at National RV Supply and Camping World have not returned numerous messages and phone calls seeking comment on the report.
