Regency RV Adds A Great Outdoor RV Center to Dealer Network

150247571592524.jpgFort Worth, Texas—Regency RV has announced it has added A Great Outdoor RV Center LLC, headquartered in Canton, Texas to its roster of dealers selling the new Xalta luxury type B motorhomes.

The coaches are built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis in Fort Worth, Texas. Dymon Farrer, national sales manager for the company, says that Regency RV is looking for a very select group of dealers to take on, and A Great Outdoor RV Center was a “perfect fit.”

A Great Outdoor RV Center Owner Don Bloom says his dealership is excited to be carrying all floorplans of the new Xalta by Regency RV. A Great Outdoor RV Center also sells a full line of travel trailers and fifth wheels as well as motorized type A and type C coaches.

“The quality and fit and finish are what attracted us to the Xalta,” Bloom says. “I have spent a lot of my time in this industry selling high-end motorhomes. We tend to gravitate toward high quality products. The new Xalta fits in that realm very, very nicely. Obviously Mercedes builds a tremendous chassis to finish a custom van on. Regency takes it to the next level with their interiors, their designs, the cabinetry, the quality, countertops, just everything that you see about it exudes a high quality, well-built product.”

“When it comes to Regency RV dealers, we were looking for quality-minded stores like A Great Outdoor RV Center that want to offer variety over volume,” Farrer says. “We don’t want to become the biggest supplier in the type B and type B+ market. Our goal is to become one of the best—one of the most unique.

“I certainly would advise clients to schedule an appointment to come in and have a tour of the Xalta, take a test drive, and feel how well it handles. The one I have here – the ride and drive was absolutely incredible. I drove it on an extremely windy day and it was quiet and tracked remarkably well.”

Farrer says one of the top selling points for Regency RV type B coaches is that they aren’t built on a conventional assembly line, but rather one at a time. Most components, like the handcrafted cabinetry and upholstery, are built in-house. The team at Regency is pleased with the feedback from its dealers and customers.

“Interest in Regency is quickly growing nationwide,” Farrer says. “We’re proud to add A Great Outdoor RV Center of Texas to our select list of dealers.”
