RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Brown & Brown Insurance Adds to Mike Molino RV Learning Center Pledge

145288477541371.pngFAIRFAX, Va. – Brown & Brown Insurance of Kentucky announced it has added $100,000 to their pledge for the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, bringing the total pledge to $200,000. Brown & Brown maintains their position in the top category for donors, Major Gifts, with this pledge increase.

"Continuing education and training is a wise investment and that is why we are pleased to support the work of the RV Learning Center," said Michael Neal, executive vice president of Brown & Brown Insurance of Kentucky. "When RV dealerships are successful, our company is successful."

"The pledge made by Brown & Brown further demonstrates their outstanding commitment to the RV industry," said RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV in Hartville, Ohio. "This contribution will assist in providing affordable education and training for dealers and their employees."

In addition to their contributions to the RV Learning Center, Brown & Brown and MBA Insurance are bronze partners for the 2017 RVDA convention.

Donations to the RV Learning Center fund an array of programs, including webinars on current topics, training and certification for dealership staff, essential publications and learning guides. The RV Learning Center is supported by dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and other RV industry members committed to dealership education and the high levels of customer service provided by educated employees.
