Coachmen RV to Offer Xantrex Lithium Ion Power System in Galleria

Mon Nov 13, 2017

148182508451671.jpgBURNABY, British Columbia – According to a statement from Schneider Electric, Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River Inc., is now offering Xantrex brand Freedom e-GEN-Li3 Lithium Ion Power System as an option on Galleria type B motorhomes.

Built on the 3500 Mercedes Sprinter extended platform featuring the cleanest running turbo-diesel 'Blue Tec' engine, the power system gives customers the option to power their Galleria type B without the need of a generator or having to be tied into shore power, the statement says. Schneider Electric owns the Xantrex brand.

"The new system offers our customers a smart, safe and affordable lithium-ion power system that isn't found in the Class B industry today," Galleria General Manager Nick Recchio says. "We had our first true retail introduction at the Pomona Show and the Freedom e-GEN-Li3 option was a game changer for us."

"Our system offers the longest runtime, fastest battery-recharge time, safest battery chemistry, smartest battery management and the most advanced inverter/charger system," Xantrex OEM Sales Manager Steve Carlson says. "I am confident Coachmen's Class B customers will see the benefits of this system in the very first trip."

"We had other options but chose the Xantrex system because of its outstanding performance," Recchio says. "A buyer requesting this type of upgrade would want the best, so the Xantrex team and their system was the obvious choice."

Schneider Electric says the Xantrex Freedom e-GEN-Li3 is a fully integrated system that offers reliable AC and DC power to run an air conditioner and other high-power loads in all climate conditions and precise battery management for accurately charging lithium ion batteries from multiple sources.

The Galleria with the Xantrex system will be on display at the Coachmen RV/Forest River booth 1001 at the National RV Tradeshow. Visit the Xantrex booth 415, for technical details and a close look at the Freedom e-GEN system.
