Wed Nov 15, 2017

145072686053695.jpgFairfax, Va.—RVDA will honor RV brands built by 13 manufacturers with its Quality Circle Award during the RV Industry Awards Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Mercury Ballroom in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. These brands/manufacturers/product categories received at least 15 dealer responses and scored 4.25 or above on a 5-point scale in overall dealer satisfaction in the association’s 24th Annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.

“Quality Circle Awards recognize manufacturers that dealers rated the highest in several important areas of dealer and customer support,” says RVDA Chairman of the Board Tim Wegge of Burlington RV Superstore in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. “Their commitment ultimately helps dealers serve their customers with better quality products and aftercare, in turn promoting the growth of the whole industry.”

The towable RV manufacturers/brands receiving awards are (in alphabetical order by manufacturer): Airstream; Forest River (XLR); Grand Design (Imagine, Momentum, Reflection, Solitude); Gulf Stream (Vintage Cruiser/Vista Cruiser); Heartland (North Trail/Wilderness); Keystone (Cougar/X-lite, Springdale/Summerland/Residence); KZ (Spree/Spree Connect/Spree Escape); Lance (Travel Trailers/Toy Haulers, Truck Campers), and Livin’ Lite.

The motorized RV manufacturers/product categories receiving awards are (in alphabetical order): Airstream; Gulf Stream; Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E; Newmar; Pleasure-Way, and Tiffin.

When rating their brands/manufacturers, RVDA asks dealers to express, confidentially, their level of satisfaction on four core issues:

• Reliability/quality
• Parts
• Warranty
• Sales

The 24th Annual DSI survey was conducted between August and October 2017. Four hundred and fifty U.S. and Canadian dealers responded to the survey this year and provided 2,590 brand ratings, an average of almost six per dealer. A summary of the DSI survey aggregate results will appear in the December issue of RV Executive Today.
