RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Livin' Lite Receives 2017 RVDA Quality Circle Award

151128283074954.jpgSHIPSHEWANA, Ind.—Livin’ Lite was recently awarded the 2017 RVDA Quality Circle Award for its entire offerings of lightweight products, including CampLite and QuickSilver.

The announcement was communicated by Phil Ingrassia, president of the National RV Dealers Association. The official announcement will be made at the first RV Industry Awards Celebration, held during this year’s National RV Trade Show, held in Louisville, Kentucky.

“The Livin’ Lite team has performed an outstanding job cultivating dealer relationships, creating innovative floorplans and producing them on brand new production lines,” K-Z President Aram Koltookian says. “With the receipt of this year’s DSI award, the Livin’ Lite dealer body has certainly communicated their acknowledgement of those efforts.”
