RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

nüCamp RV Introduces Cirrus 920 Truck Camper, Re-Brand of Teardrops

151188827946782.jpgSUGARCREEK, Ohio—Recreational vehicle manufacturer nüCamp RV has expanded its line of truck campers to include the Cirrus 920, the next-generation truck camper designed specifically for long-bed trucks, the manufactureer announced in a press release.

The Cirrus 920 features high-end European interior styling, built-in storage in the bathroom, an ambient lit stainless-steel mosaic tile backsplash in the kitchen, slide-out pantry and a 28-inch TV in the dinette. Customers can also opt for a slide-in oven, generator and a second TV in the cabover.

The Cirrus line of truck campers is designed with the same high-tech systems and innovative materials used in nüCamp RV's line of teardrop camper trailers.

"We saw an opportunity to innovate in the truck camper space by leveraging our experience building high-quality, lightweight teardrop campers," nuCamp RV CEO Scott Hubble says. "The industry is responding favorably to our new take on truck camping."

The Cirrus 920 will be on display and for sale at the 2017 Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) trade show Nov. 27-30 in Louisville, Kentucky. nüCamp RV will also launch new options for the T@G Teardrop Trailer and T@B Teardrop Trailer product lines. All models and packages will be on display at the RIVA National RV Trade Show.

The Boondock package, formerly known as the Outback package, targets teardrop camper trailer enthusiasts seeking an off-road experience. The new name hints at a more durable and rugged off-road camper. Available for the T@B 320 S, the T@B 320 U, the T@G and T@G XL models, the Boondock features everything needed for off-road camping adventures. The exterior features rugged, off-road wheels and a roof rack with a cargo basket and spare tire. The Boondock package also boasts a pitched axle and a custom diamond plate tongue box, giving it a tough, durable appearance. The Boondock interior features Marmoleum flooring, a highly durable, anti-microbial material that is easy to maintain.

Campers looking for an upscale luxurious experience can now upgrade the T@G line of campers with the addition of the Sofitel Package. The Sofitel Package brings elegance to nüCamp's smallest form factor camper that can be towed virtually anywhere with a hitch. The Sofitel Package features a plush faux-leather interior, upscale cabinetry and hardware in the exterior galley, birch ceiling, the FROLI Sleep System, custom alloy wheels and many other luxurious appointments not available in the base T@G model. The Sofitel Package is also available for T@B line of teardrop campers.
