SUGARCREEK, Ohio— Recreational vehicle manufacturer nüCamp RV announced it is installing a solar power system at its manufacturing facility in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
The roof-mounted system has more than 1,900 panels. It will offset 80 percent of nüCamp RV's power, which translates to 500.5 tons of CO2 and 1,056 barrels of oil each year.
"We partnered with Paradise Energy Solutions to increase our efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing process," Hubble says. "The solar covered roof will improve our production process, lower energy costs and offset the majority of our energy needs. Our investment in a renewable, readily available energy source is part of our larger goal to protect and preserve the environment where our employees and customers live and play."
Paradise Energy Solutions, like nüCamp RV, has operations in Sugarcreek.
"Working with Paradise Energy Solutions made sense," Hubble says. "The company has a large presence in Sugarcreek and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to execute a large-scale project with another local company."
