RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVIA Presents First Annual '40 Under 40' Awards

145072659275994.jpgThe RVIA honored the up and coming leaders at the annual Outlook breakfast as the first annual "40 Under 40" Award winners. These 40 individuals, who were nominated by their peers and selected by members of the RVIA Trade Shows and Events Committee, represent current and future leaders in the RV Industry who are under 40 years of age.

"This talented group of individuals who make up the 40 under 40 are the future of the RV industry," said RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer. "We thank them for their contributions and look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future."

The winners are invited to RVIA's Annual Leadership Conference, taking place January 14-15, 2018 at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Florida, to participate in a "40 Under 40" interactive session to discuss the top challenges they are facing now and in the future. This will be a facilitated session that will spark conversations, generate solutions and provide tangible takeaways to implement throughout the industry.
