RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RV Learning Center/KPA Announces Winter Prep Best Practices Webinar

145072659275994.jpgFAIRFAX, Va. – The RV Learning Center and KPA announced the start of enrollment for a Winter Preparations Best Practices webinar.

According to the announcement, winter conditions and temperatures can vary dramatically across the country and almost everyone is likely to face some type of severe winter weather over the next several months.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • How to prepare for a winter storm

  • How to deal with winter hazards safely

  • How to provide workers with the proper tools and equipment to do their jobs in cold or hazardous conditions


Dealers will also learn how to develop and implement solid emergency and winter preparation procedures. Safety and health experts speak at the webinar on Monday, Dec. 4 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
