RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Christina Johnson, SHRM – SCP, MS-HR, is KPA's Lead Human Resources Consultant and has 20+ years of HR management, benefits management, and consulting experience. System implementations, new vendor implementation, process improvement, and benefit plans are her specialties. Johnson is an HR guru who helps clients master challenging HR processes!

Kelly Pinkerton is also a KPA HR Consultant. In a former life, she was the Payroll Manager at a prominent bank in Ohio and has 10+ years of experience managing payroll and a HRIS system. Kelly's undergraduate degree is in Organizational Leadership and Business. She is also a U.S. Army veteran who served as an Automated Logistics Specialist from 2001-2007, and served a tour in Tikrit, Iraq from 2003-2005.
