The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

UNIONTOWN, Ohio – Liberty Outdoors announced Tearstock 2018 will be held in historic Mackinaw City, Michigan Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Open registration will begin Monday, Dec. 11 at noon Eastern time.
Tearstock is billed as a weekend of peace, love and camping hosted annually by Liberty Outdoors. Every year, Tearstock is held at a different location to make it easier for small trailer enthusiasts to attend. Each Tearstock gathering features camping, entertainment, door prizes, food and socializing.
Tearstock is a rally geared toward teardrop trailers and fiberglass eggshell trailers, but all RVs are welcome.
For Tearstock 2018, Liberty Outdoors selected Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground to help host the event. One of northern Michigan's most popular campgrounds, Mackinaw Mill Creek was voted "Michigan's Favorite Campground" by TV 9 and 10 viewers. Mackinaw Mill Creek also is one of Michigan's "Top Family Friendly Campgrounds" as reported by the Detroit News.
Mackinaw Mill Creek offers views of the Straits of Mackinac and the Mackinac Bridge, and it's located five minutes from the Mackinac Island Ferry Docks and downtown Mackinaw City.
Liberty Outdoors will be showcasing a full lineup of its trailer models at Tearstock, including the Max, Plus, MyPod, Serro Scotty, and ParkLiner models.
