RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

NERVDA Announces Dates and Locations for Reese Training

146704666732523.jpgThe New England RV Dealers Association has finalized dates and locations for its Reese Towing Products training, events managed by RVIA and Technicians in Training staff.

The first class will be Jan. 30 at Long View RV in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. To register for the class, click here.

The second class will be Jan. 31 at Major's RV Service Center in Bourne, Massachusetts. To register for the class, click here.

The third class will be Feb. 1 at Cold Springs RV in Weare, New Hampshire. To register for the class, click here.

When registering for any of the events, use the discount code "NERVDA" and the rate will be reduced to $79 for the $99 training event. Technicians also will earn eight recertification hours for the training.
