RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Horizon to Make Partership Announcment at NAIAS

151569251427325.pngHorizon Global is taking its OEM team to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan, hosting customers and other visitors in room 355 on Thursday, Jan. 18th from noon to 5 p.m., and bringing along a special guest to announce a new partnership.

Representatives of the global OEM team, TriMotive-Westfalia, will be available to discuss the latest product news and innovations and to support the new partnership announcement, according to a press release from Horizon, of Plymouth, Michigan. Horizon is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of branded towing and trailer equipment

TriMotive-Westfalia will have product displays and information about its brands on hand, including product demonstrations via video display. It will also hold a raffle with door prizes for those who attend.

“Our team is expanding on a global scale due to the acquisitions the Company has made over the last couple of years, so it seemed fitting that we host the entire global OEM team at this industry event,” said Mike Sislo, vice president and general manager of TriMotive Americas. “We also look forward to meeting with customers and others to discuss products and business initiatives, both locally and internationally.”
