RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Tangeman to Lead Alde Training Sessions

151605197816199.jpgHydronic heating system manufacturer Alde Corp. has appointed Spencer Tangeman as service technician to lead training sessions on Alde maintenance and service. Tangeman, who has already completed trainings at Airstream and Roadtrek dealerships, provides inbound technical support to both dealer and end-user customers and performs in-house product service and testing.

Tangeman has nearly 10 years of experience as an automotive technician, as well as having a background in sales, project management and customer relations.

Headquartered in Sweden, Alde Corp. has been an innovator in hydronic heating systems for RVs since 1966, and can be found on various Airstream, RoadTrek and nuCamp models here in the states. The company recently introduced model 3020 with Flow, which delivers continuous hot water for bathing, cooking and washing in addition to the boiler's RV heating function.
