RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lippert Components Hires Swartzendruber for Inside Sales, Aftermarket

151605287688364.jpgLois Swartzendruber has been hired by the Lippert Components, Inc. for inside sales in the Aftermarket Division of the Elkhart, Indiana firm. In her new role, Swartzendruber will work to introduce new and existing products and programs to meet the needs of both new and existing customers.

“We are excited to have Lois join our expanding sales team! Her years of experience working with dealers across the country will be a tremendous asset,” says Matt Clauss, the national sales manager at LCI . “She is the next important piece to our growing aftermarket puzzle.”

Swartzendruber has more than 16 years of experience working in the RV industry, including stints with DTI, Reese Products, Coast Distribution, Meyer Distributing, and National RV Supply. In her previous roles, Swartzendruber worked on a broad array of tasks for inside sales, customer service, tech assistance, administration and marketing.
