RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Aqua-Hot Named Top ‘Made in Colorado’ Product

151698267290747.jpgAqua-Hot Heating Systems, a global leader in hydronic heating solutions for RVs, UTVs, and on- and off-highway vehicles, has been named a finalist in ColoradoBiz magazine's annual Made in Colorado awards, according to a company press release. Selected from hundreds of nominees to earn a spot in the final round of judging, Aqua-Hot is now vying to join the top five companies that will be announced at the publication's March 1st event at Mile High Station in Denver.

"We're honored by this news," said Travis Smith, Aqua-Hot general manager and director of finance. "It's a reflection of the dedication and hard work our entire team demonstrates every day."

Aqua-Hot is renowned for its active participation within Colorado's manufacturing community. Paul Harter, company chairman of the board, serves the Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership as VP of the board. He was recently featured in a CBS segment on the company's unique approaches to hiring and retaining top employees.
