Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Focuses on the American Dream

Mon Jan 29, 2018

151724382246381.pngCiting the fact that it comes with a better interior than many homes in Alberta, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, focused on the American Dream motorhome at the annual Calgary RV Show and Sale last weekend, according to a CBC story. The 45-foot luxury motorhome is built by American Coach and features about 400 square feet of living space for roughly $600,000.

"The interiors in those are better than most people's homes in Alberta, at this point in time right now," says Dan Merkowsky, RV Show manager in the story.

The 2017 American Dream has roughly 400 square feet of living space and 'virtually everything you would ever want to live,' says Dough McLaughlin, president of the High River Autoplex & RV dealership. The show model featured premium hardwood cabinetry, two showers, an electric fireplace, porcelain toilets, a central vacuum system and its own washer and dryer.

The $599,000 price tag has been slashed from a regular price of $799,000 as part of a special offer tied to the annual show, which RV News is assuming to be in Canadian currency.
