“We are excited about the opportunity this brings to our customer base as we gear up for a very busy camping season,” says Johnny Hayes, purchasing manager at Meyer. “Shield is the only retail fire safety company to manufacture all of their products in the United States and we are proud to be carrying this American made item.”

Jason Lents, the RV/towing sales manager at Meyer said he believes the addition will be welcomed by RV dealers, as apparently many of them were already requesting Shield products.

“The RV segment remains a primary focus for Meyer and we continually look to bring in products that our dealers need to keep their shelves stocked” Lents says. “We are committed to making the investments necessary to bring in product lines our dealers are asking for, and when that is combined with the excellent reputation for quality and reliability, it’s a win for the dealer and Meyer.

“Shield products are independently tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories and meet or exceed state and local code requirements,” adds Lents.
