Lippert's Goshen Annexation Moves Forward After Shedding D-ACT-Z

The annexation is still several steps from final approval, reports the Goshen News. The plan must go through several steps before the actual annexation process can begin, such as additional review by the Goshen Planning Commission and another review by the Goshen City Council at its March 6 meeting.

Still, the Lippert plan approval was an expected compromise aimed at appeasement, reports the newspaper, as the council also agreed to discard a second, connected annexation request involving an additional three nearby parcels owned by the company D-ACT-Z. The entire 150-acre annexation was opposed by some nearby residents, though the Lippert plans appeared much more specific than those of D-ACT-Z.
